A few weeks ago I got a call from my mate Andy. He told me about a band he'd discoverd that were playing a gig in town. The band was called Half Moon Run. It's so easy these days with the internet to check bands out at the push of a button, as soon as I heard their song 'Full Circle' I was hooked! Andy quickly bought the tickets, a quick words to my other mates Tom and Nadeen (my musical bro and sis) and they were coming as well. I had watched a few of their live sessions on youtube so I kind of knew they were good live but I was really looking forward to the gig.

So the Tuesday of the gig had arrived and I decided I would have time to have my cake and eat it (play footy and go the gig after)
